Sen-Gin (Richard) Liu, PE

Principal

Richard was born in Taiwan, but spent most of his formative years in South and Central America. Exposure to these diverse cultures enhanced his awareness of architecture’s impact on the local community. This understanding has influenced Richard throughout his education and engineering career. The marriage of structure and architecture has become his focus.

Richard has played a critical role in AEC’s implementation of BIM. As a result of his efforts, AEC has fully integrated Autodesk Revit into their operations. As Principal, Richard manages projects and trains new engineers. He is responsible for maintaining company standards in Autodesk Revit and for providing technical assistance to engineers working in BIM.

Joshua A. Bedre, PE

Principal

Josh Bedre was introduced to structural engineering and architecture by his grandfather, Mr. Oscar Galjour, who designed, engineered, constructed, and sailed a fleet of shrimp boats in Aransas Pass, Texas. Josh recognized and embraced the artistry and attention to detail inherent in his grandfather’s designs and has translated those tenets into a successful structural engineering career.

As Principal, Josh serves as Manager of Engineering. He is responsible for engineering and production management, technical standards and training. He also oversees internal network administration and technical support.

Karina Tribble, PE, LEED AP

Senior Associate

Karina’s visits to the Kimball Art Museum in Ft. Worth as a teenager were seminal in inspiring her passion for architecture. Her natural affinity for math and science further refined her focus to architectural engineering. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin she moved to New York City and honed her engineering skills for fifteen years in the office of Robert Silman Associates, LLC. The City provided excellent opportunities for renovation and preservation projects across a portfolio of building types as well as opportunities for creation of new, modern, sophisticated structures.

A desire to return to Texas combined with a keen interest in sustainability made Architectural Engineers Collaborative and Austin a perfect fit. Her extensive experience in renovation and preservation of historic buildings, her respect for modern construction, and her desire to collaborate with design colleagues to create a smart and responsibly built environment - all contribute to make her a formidable structural engineer.
