Principal

As a teenager, Karina’s visits to the Kimball Art Museum in Ft. Worth were seminal, inspiring her passion for architecture. Her natural affinity for math and science further refined her focus to architectural engineering. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin she moved to New York City and honed her engineering skills for 15 years in the office of Robert Silman Associates. With a desire to return to Texas and a keen interest in sustainable design, Karina found that Architectural Engineers Collaborative in Austin was a perfect fit.

Ms. Tribble has performed the structural design of building structures in a wide variety of materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber. She has extensive experience with retrofit of and additions to prominent existing buildings as well as restoration and preservation of historic landmarked structures. Karina is LEED certified and has worked on several LEED-rated projects. Her portfolio includes parks, visitor centers, municipal buildings, museums, academic buildings, high-end residential, multi-family housing, townhouse renovation, and high-end retail.
