The Equinox luxury gym and fitness club is located in the heart of Plano's newly redeveloped Willowbend Mall complex. It features two levels of indoor fitness and lounge spaces, a rooftop outdoor training terrace, and an indoor lap pool constructed within an existing parking garage. The reinforced concrete structure is veiled by a steel scrim that provides shading as well as architectural interest. The interior space is anchored by a sleek monumental steel stair with free cantilevered landings that rises to the third level clearstory. The inviting and modern space was designed to highlight the Equinox brand and will serve as a centerpiece of the Willowbend redevelopment.
